Movement has many faces.
Your body carries you through every day. What would you like to do more comfortably? That is where our conversation begins.
Sport & training · Train with confidence again.
We discuss your sport, training load and the movements you find difficult. Your goals give the assessment a practical direction.
Work & daily life · More variety in your working day.
Prolonged sitting, lifting or standing: we consider your symptoms and work habits, then discuss practical changes together.
Staying active · Keep doing what matters.
Walking, stairs or gardening: mobility means something different to everyone. We consider your health and the activities you value.
Part of the world of elite sport.
Chiropractic care also features in sport. Two publicly documented examples describe well-known athletes’ personal experiences.
Jerry Rice · AMERICAN FOOTBALL
The former NFL player publicly supported the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress as a spokesperson and discussed his experience of chiropractic care.
Dan O’Brien · DECATHLON
According to chiropractor Robert Xanthos, he provided chiropractic care and consultation for the Olympic champion from 1997 to 2007.

Little people. Great attention.
From first turns to playground adventures: children discover the world through movement. We take time for your observations and your family’s questions.
Lying & head position
Does your baby prefer one side? Tell us what you notice when they lie down or turn. Together we discuss which assessment may be useful.
Rolling, moving & crawling
Every child develops at their own pace. We consider your observations alongside their development so far.
School, sport & everyday life
What does your child enjoy – and what feels difficult? These questions help us understand the demands of everyday life.
Routine paediatric care remains fundamental. An observation or question does not automatically mean treatment is needed.
Years of learning. For thoughtful care.
The Doctor of Chiropractic is a dedicated university-level qualification combining basic sciences, clinical subjects and supervised practice. This education is an important part of our professional background.
01 · Foundations before professional study
The standard Palmer entry route already requires college coursework, including science subjects. The DC builds on this foundation.
02 · A multi-year DC programme
Palmer currently describes ten trimesters, about three years and four months, for its DC programme. Life University lists 14 quarters. Prior college study is additional.
03 · Putting knowledge into practice
Anatomy, physiology, examination and clinical decision-making are combined with manual skills and supervised work with patients.
04 · Understand, assess, decide
For you, this means reviewing your history, examining relevant functions, explaining findings and recognising the limits of treatment.
These figures describe current programmes, not each team member’s individual study duration. The DC is a chiropractic qualification, not a German medical licence.
Chiropractic & physiotherapy. Understanding the differences.
Chiropractic care
The focus is on musculoskeletal assessment and function, particularly of the spine and joints. Depending on findings, care may include specific manual techniques, advice and movement recommendations.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy includes exercise therapy, training and manual approaches, for example in rehabilitation and restoring function. In Germany, entry routes include a usually three-year vocational programme or a degree.
There is some overlap, and the approaches can complement each other. Your situation, the practitioner’s qualifications and a coordinated plan matter.
American roots. At home in Hannover.
A profession with a history. A practice that has grown. A team carrying that experience forward together.
1895 · The beginning in Iowa
D. D. Palmer laid the historical foundations of chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Knowledge and methods have continued to develop since then.
1897 · From experience to education
The Palmer School became a dedicated educational institution. Today chiropractic colleges combine foundational sciences with clinical education.
1999 · ACC comes to Hannover
Our practice’s story begins in Hannover. Personal attention and interest in each individual remain central to our work.
2007 · A home in Südstadt
ACC has been at Hildesheimer Straße 100 since 2007. Today Karina, Alexandra, Miriam, Carolin and Inka shape the practice together.
